Who are we?
We are the YOUNGS. Britney and Alex from Fayetteville, AR. Not perfect people, but perfect for each other. We speak kindly to and about each other. We speak LOVE in our house. We treat others how we would want to be treated. We are passionate, friendly, and "do anything for anyone" people. We cherish our friends and love spending what little time we have with them. We have two dogs, a Doberman Pincher named Ares, and a Yorkshire Terrier named Boogie. Alex is into cars (particularly Subaru) and Rally Racing. He also likes video games, but he works hard! Britney really likes the medical sciences and biology, but is into photography (as a hobby), and graphic design.
What's our story?
We met November 2007 and fell in love in December 2007. We took things slow because that's what you do when you're in love. We moved in together in June 2008, bought a house November 2009, became engaged October 2010 and got Married on June 25th, 2011. Needless to say, every year we are together something amazing happens. Our little family has grown so much over the passed 4 years, and hopefully it will continue. We've been through some hard times.. But we push through. Everything we've been through makes us stronger. Wonder what the rest of our lives will bring?
Wedding
Alex and Britney were married on June 25, 2011 at Cross Church at their brand new Fayetteville, Arkansas campus by Pastor Chris Plunkett. The wedding took place at 11:00am and the attendants were Julia Rose, Heather Fitzpatrick, Sydney Kincer, Paula Reid, and Tyler Parsons. The colors were Green, Black, and White. Britney's dress came from David's Bridal, the bouquet was from Country Gardens Florist and the cake was from Rick's Bakery and was a tradtional white cake with strawberry filling. It had cream cheese icing and fondant flowers. It was a small wedding with a turnout of only 28 people. The reception featured homemade lasagna, salad and bread.
